BIM based software
Many CAFM solutions are "BIM" compatible, however, in fact there are two significantly different practices.
- Most of them are capable of reading IFC models normally created by BIM, thought additional features can not be considered as BIM compatible one.
- Only few systems are able to manage those functions that meet the expectations required in a BIM model.
BIM feasibility model
Using BIM enable that instead of multiple feasibility documentation, facility operators have access to the requested data in a single BIM implementation model.In order to take adventge from BIM, the contractor have to know in whic form the hand over shall be done at the end of the contstruction.
